I read something you recommended: The Mother In-Law. Definitely a page-turner! I hadn't read this author before, but I liked her, and I find it interesting that there are several current female authors from Australia who write in a similar genre.

Definitely a page-turner, but also a thoughtful exploration of familial relationships that gave me a lot of food for thought. To your point, a lot like Liane Moriarty.

Hepworth's "The Good Sister" is much more mystery/thrills, IMO.

That's how I felt about J&JW too. I didn't finish it. I'm sure it was a valuable read for a lot of people, but I felt like I was just getting a bunch of facts I already knew thrown at me.

Glad to hear someone had a similar experience reading the book. I actually found David French's interview with DuMez on one of the Dispatch podcasts much more interesting.

I can't find that episode - do you know which one it is? I'd love to listen to it.

Thank you! I was looking at his other podcast, haha! No wonder I couldn't find it.
